Ginger, no crunch
With a subtly spicy fragrance of ginger, the sulfate-free haircare range from Paul Mitchell uses Awapuhi wild ginger to bring strength and vitality back to fragile, damaged hair.
The range combines the wild ginger, used by Hawaiians as a hair and body moisturiser, with KeraTriplex, a blend of isolated keratin proteins specially designed to repair and seal damaged hair.
Thread's pick is the Awapuhi Wild Ginger Hydromist Blow-Out Spray ($29.95) which you spritz over towel-dried hair then blow dry to add moisture, and remove frizz.
The wild ginger range which launched late 2011 has two new additions: the blow-out spray, and Hydrocream Whip; a frizz-controlling styling mousse ($32.95)
There's also shampoo and conditioners, a Keratin Intensive Treatment, Styling Treatment Oil, Finishing Spray, and Texturising Sea Spray. All Paul Mitchell products are salon-only. Call 0800 742 676 for stockists.
