I get Kloned at iD
There's no better time to try out a new look, than when at a fashion event showcasing creativity from the world over, I had decided.
I usually live on the intersection of Side Part Ave and Blow Wave Street, so I thought the offer of a do from the backstage team at iD Dunedin Fashion Week was the perfect opportunity to run away.
I arrived for my backstage styling appointment with the stylists from Klone before Thursday night’s Emerging Designers Show at iD Dunedin on 29th March, and met salon owner and director Karl Radel.
Karl, pictured below, led a team of twelve to create five key looks for models in five teams who walked in a variety of the 28 designers' collections.
In a nice collaborative fashion, Klone staff - all fitted out in nom*d tee-shirts by the salon for the event - had held meetings and brainstormed looks and come up with their top five looks.
The model hair look I chose was a waterfall braid, created by Ange of Klone.

Other hair looks I loved were the edgy and cool plaited spirals worn front and at the nape of the neck...
...and the softly-pretty side part with twisted back bun.
